Video sneak peak: Virtual laps of Circuit of The Americas to be featured in racing video game

Want to check out the Circuit of The Americas race circuit from from a driver's perspective?

Check out the in-car footage from the yet-to-be-released video game F1 2012 by Codemasters. Included in this sneak-peak video is a three-lap tour of the Austin track at speed with Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton at the wheel.

The video game is still under development, and Codemasters hopes to have the game available in September. The game is expected to include everything in Formula One excect post-race garage fires.

Expect tire smoke, front-wheel lockup, operation of KERS and on-the-fly adjustment of brake bias.

Formula One is scheduled to race at Circuit of the Americas on November 18. The American Le Mans Series has announced it will race at COTA in 2013.
